Bellows

The bellows are designed to direct airflow into a charcoal fire. This increased airflow intensifies the flames and raises the temperature, allowing the iron to be heated until it glows red-hot. At this stage, the metal can be forged to strengthen it, rolled, bent, and shaped as needed.
