Slide/film projector, Pullin Optics

A slide/film projector constructed from heavy, thick metal. Its rectangular body houses a powerful lamp and a cooling fan, with hot air venting through the top. At the front is a circular opening where the light emerges, aligned with a mechanism that holds the end of the film. The film is stored in a round reel box with a central spindle, from which it is wound. Advancement is done manually via a gear wheel positioned below the insertion point, while the film is designed to wind back onto a second identical reel (missing in this unit). Beyond the film holder extends a tubular lens assembly containing three lenses, used to project a sharp, enlarged image onto a wall or screen. Manufactured in England in the mid-1940s.
